National Deceased Register

“One of the UK’s largest life assurers has recently tested the NDR. They ran their latest net mailing file against our file and flagged the additional records identified. Even though they had used all available deceased suppression files we were still able to identify almost 2,700 additional records which had not been picked up.

They were very pleased to find that not a single response was received from any of these records over the past 6 months.

After further internal analysis, they determined that when extrapolated across their entire annual mailing programme  they could save on over 50,000 ”contacts” per annum, thereby making major cost savings as well as reducing their environmental footprint and removing the potential for complaint from surviving family members.

It is now their intention to use the NDR on all internal and external activity in the future and because The National Deceased Register has proven to be the most robust file on the market they are now placing it at the top of the suppression hierarchy.”
